Teres Voyager
I took the opportunity to order the plug and play motor version and also Chris's acrylic base. Since I wanted to use a 12" arm and a Denon Dl103 (and I have to figure out how Chris's board will accomodate it) I started experimenting with an interim base. I also was to impatient to wait for the base to arrive.

Two rectangular pieces of 0.75" plywood were bolted together and an armboard was glued at the approximate position (the instructions for setting up the 12" Scheu arm are spotty). Room for precise tonearm alignment was incorporated by sawing an 1" diameter slot into the armboard, which gives the whole setup an "Starship Voyager" appearance. The armboard consists of plywood too.

I will upgrade to Chris's acrylic base and eventually will try a base that is resting on a sand basin.
