The base is 2" thick clear acrylic perched on three thick wall acrylic "legs" each about 2" tall and filled with lead shot and mineral oil. Constrained-layer damping of .07" Dynamat is used between the legs and the Corian slab they rest on, and between the Corian and the high-density particle board the Corian rests on. Motor pod loaded with lead shot as well. . . Whole she-bang is suspended via heavy surgical tubing from the stand. The arm is an ET 2.0 with a Clearaudio Discovery cartridge.
